Position available for Expozine 2021

Expozine is Montreal’s popular annual small press fair, held each year in November along with various Expozine events and programming the rest of the year.

Expozine is looking for a programming coordinator for 2021. It is a part-time, contractual position that goes from April to December, 2021.

The candidate should be familiar with and passionate about the Montreal literary and publishing milieu. Tasks include selecting readers for group readings, working with the Expozine Committee to develop programming around the fall 2021 book fair, helping curate Allo-Poème – Dial-A-Poem Montreal, and assisting with promotion and social media account management.

Candidates can be either Francophone or Anglophone, ideally with a functional knowledge of the other language.

During the pandemic, most of the work will be done from home, with the resumption of in-person events and meetings as conditions permit. The contract is for approximately 15 hours per week — however, if you are eligible for Emploi Québec job program (subvention salariale), the position could expanded to full-time. Hourly rate is negotiable.
